Dear Fellow Arts Enthusiast,
The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council (GPCAAC) is bringing bold and exciting new adventures in the arts to the Port Clinton community, but we need your help to make this a sustainable financial reality.

In 2020, the City of Port Clinton made it possible for our local arts council to lease an old city maintenance garage for its headquarters. We have named the building, The Arts Garage or TAG.

The garage is 8,000 square feet which we plan to turn into an art and cultural center for the area. The garage has not been in use for years and requires a great deal of work and money to refurbish.

We are actively fundraising for this project now and are about to launch “The Christmas Market” as the season’s centerpiece of fundraising activities. The Christmas Market, to be held from November 1 through the end of the year, will be a multifaceted festival of artist events, with ornament, wreath and tree sales, as well as a myriad of Christmas workshops for both children and adults.

Where do you come in? We are asking for daily Market Day Sponsors at a cost of $100. As a Market Day Sponsor, you will be featured on that day as a generous supporter of your community and the Arts in Ottawa County. Will you please help your community by sponsoring one or more Market Days? Details are attached!
Thank you for considering being a part of this effort to bring a vibrant and enriching arts presence to our community!

Sincerely,
Connie Peiffer

The Arts Garage is a project of Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council (GPCAAC). The monies we are currently raising is for the renovations of the building we leased from the City of Port Clinton. Once fully renovated, GPCAAC will have a home address in that building. Currently, GPCAAC is run out of the homes of our dedicated board members.

The GPCAArts Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2009 to provide the communities of Ottawa County support in fostering a cooperative effort between artists and the public to promote the creative arts in our region.
