It has been five years since the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council moved into The Arts Garage, and a fundraising birthday celebration is planned for Saturday, August 8, from 6-9pm, at 317 W. Perry St., Port Clinton.

 

This fundraising birthday celebration will feature dinner and entertainment, live and silent auctions, a juried art exhibit, an artists’ paint-out battle, and much, much more!

 

If you would like to be part of the event, you may join in any number of ways:

 

Partygoer: You’re invited to enjoy the party, with tickets available for purchase for $55 each, either online, at The Arts Garage during open hours of Thursday-Sunday, 11-4pm, or at the door the night of the party, Saturday, August 8, 6-9pm.

 

Artists’ Paint-Out Battle: Are you an artist who thrives on the thrill of painting live in front of an audience with the chance to not only sell your painting but win a cash prize? If so, you will definitely want to sign up for the paint-out! There’s a small fee to enter, but you’ll receive free admission to the party!

 

Live and/or Silent Auctions: Are you looking to contribute to the auction? Help us earn birthday money by auctioning something you’ve donated! From an experience (massage, boat cruise, golf outing, dinner/lodging), to gift cards for shops or restaurants, to objets d’art, jewelry, or other beauties – if it can be auctioned, we’d love to have it! Donate an auction item and receive half-price admission to the party!

 

Juried Art Exhibit: If you’re an artist looking for a challenge, submit some of your work for consideration to be in our very first juried art exhibit! Test your talents against that of other artists for a chance to display your work at The Arts Garage and win a cash prize! There’s a small fee to enter, but you’ll gain free admission to the party!

 

Volunteer: It takes a village to put on a fundraising birthday party of this magnitude and we could always use extra hands! If you are a lover of the arts who also loves giving back, what better way to enjoy both than by helping bring this party to fruition! Volunteers receive free admission to the party!
