Classes for $15, 25 at TAG for pastels, drawing

Since 2009, the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council has worked to deliver interesting programming to the community, including public events that support and drive our local economy, as well as fostering a cooperative effort between artists and the public to promote the creative arts in our region.

In an effort to keep the lights on, to pay our wonderful instructors and to boost membership for the GPCAAC, tonight (11/1) will be the LAST FREE pastels class at The Arts Garage.

From now on pastels and drawing classes are just $15 per person for GPCAAC members and $25 for non-members. All Ottawa County students can take classes for free.

Instructor Alice Holly will be teaching an all-ages pastels class on Tuesday evenings from 6-7:30pm at TAG. Instructor Gayle Mehling will be teaching an all-ages drawing class on Thursday evenings from 6-7:30pm at The Arts Garage.

Please sign up under the Classes tab on our homepage.

Now is a great time to join the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council, as you will receive discounts on classes and special perks to come!

The GPCAAC is honored to serve the artists and creative community who make our county an inspiring place to live, work, and create.

Arts and culture are at the core of strong and vibrant communities and artists play a vital role in both civic engagement and economic development.

We believe the arts are for everyone, and we invite you to join us.

The Arts Garage is located in the old city garage at 317 W. Perry Street in Port Clinton.
