The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council is proud to announce its June “Evening Out with Art” artists series featuring Port Clinton native and artist Keith Fleming.

Join Fleming on Monday June 12 at 6pm at The Arts Garage (TAG) for this FREE evening discussing folk art and how it has influenced Fleming’s creative process.

Fleming will answer questions such as:

  • ·         What is folk art or traditional art?

  • ·         What does folk art mean?

  • ·         What is folk art known for?

  • ·         What defines American folk art?

He will also bring samples from his past shows, and explain what his work means and how he creates from the many items he has collected.

Keith was born in Port Clinton, and after graduating from Port Clinton High School in 1976, he attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, PA, from 1976-1979.
