What's Happening at TAG this Week!






Spring has sprung and things are kicking into high gear at The Arts Garage in Port Clinton. We have plenty going on at TAG this week so come check it out!

Monday April 17 evening at 6pm, we have Pastels class with Alice Holly. This class is open to everyone and is a great way to try something new! Cost is $20 per adult, FREE for Ottawa County students. Sign up on our website www.gpcaac.org under “Classes.”

Tuesday April 18 is a free glazing class for those who have taken pinch pot, coil or slab classes with our potters. Class begins at 6pm. RSVP on the website.

Thursday April 20 is a busy day for TAG as we kick off the day with Figure Drawing with Keith Fleming at 10am. Try your hand at drawing with live models! Cost is $5 per person, which will be paid to the model. Please bring any supplies you will need, we will provide an easel.

Also on Thursday is the Port Clinton Area Writer’s Circle beginning at 6pm. From poetry to fiction to songwriting, every genre of writing is welcome! This group is FREE and this is a judgement-free zone, we’re here to help and listen.

Saturday April 22 is a Spring Votive class with Joyce Waltz. Starting at 8:30am, you will take what was taught in the Valentine’s glass class and create a beautiful 2 or 4 sided spring votive. Cost is $35 for 2 sides, $40 for 4 sides. Adults only please.

Also on Saturday April 22 is a Beach Glass Art Class with Debbie Prue. Come make a piece of art using Lake Erie beach glass, starting at 11am. This week's theme is Sisters/Friends/Love. Cost is $35 per person and tickets can be purchased on the website.

Don’t forget to check out our current exhibit, “Moments and Memories” featuring the works of TAG artists Steve and Linda Kelley. This showing ends on April 24, so please come see it before it’s gone!

TAG Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, open 11am until 4pm, or by appointment.

TAG, home of the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council, is located in the city’s old maintenance garage at 317 W. Perry Street in Port Clinton, OH.
