What’s happening at TAG this week! (April 24-30, 2023)

The calendar is a little quieter this week at the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council’s The Arts Garage, but things will be full-steam ahead soon.

The Arts Garage (TAG) is open Wednesday – Sunday from 11am until 4pm.

As a reminder The Arts Garage, home of the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council, is located in the city’s old maintenance garage at 317 W. Perry Street in Port Clinton, Ohio.

Thursday April 27 – Join us on Thursday at 10am at TAG for Figure Drawing with Keith Fleming. This live model drawing opportunity is open to all skill levels, come try it out! The cost is $5 per person, which will be paid to the model for their time. Please bring any supplies you will need, an easel will be provided.

Saturday April 29 – We’ve got a new class for students starting up this week. Students are invited to Printmaking class with instructor Karen Lehner. This class is free to Ottawa County students. Class is from 11am until 12:30pm. Sign up on our website at www.gpcaac.org.

Come join us for Beach Glass Art Class with Debbie Prue on Saturday. This week’s theme is sail boats made from Lake Erie beach glass and pottery. Cost is $35 per person, and you can sign up on Classes page on our website, www.gpcaac.org. Class begins at 1:30pm.

Sunday April 30 - We are finishing off the week with a special opening reception of the second annual “Feather to Frame” collaborative art show with Black Swamp Bird Observatory. This beautiful collection of bird-centered works will feature nearly 100 pieces of both native and migratory birds. This FREE reception is open to all and begins at 3pm on Sunday April 30th. We would love to see you there!
